Bummed that tickets to the 2011 Virgin Mobile FreeFest “free-d out” in record time this morning? Don’t worry — there’s still hope to see the Black Keys, DeadMau5, TV on the Radio, Cee Lo Green and more at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md., on Sept. 10!
The festival, which has raised nearly $300,000 since 2009 to benefit homeless and at-risk kids through Virgin’s The RE*Generation campaign, is once again asking fans to volunteer their time to gain “Free.I.P.” admission. Or, instead, concertgoers can purchase a Fan ePack, which includes early admission, drink discounts and other goodies. Find out more via Virgin Mobile’s Facebook page!
And there’s a bonus third way into the show for CityRag readers: We’ll be giving away tickets to FreeFest soon … stay tuned!
