Dude, Where’s My Car?
Through the voodoo that is Google Maps, a massive, 1,000-vehicle classic car graveyard has been discovered in a humongous field about an hour east of Austin, Texas. After learning about it via Jalopnik, reader Kevin Miller hit the ground to capture these heartbreaking images of gorgeous vehicles from the ’50s through the early ’70s gathering dust, rust, and a variety of plant and animal life. No one yet knows what will become of these wonderful works of Americana, but someone needs to save them for …. something!
