Help save one of NYC’s great animal rescue groups
New Yorkers for Companion Animals, the rescue & foster group that saved Buddy from death, needs your help! Due to veterinary emergencies and recent low donations they are in danger of closing down. We can’t let this happen!! Since its start in May 1994, NYCA has rescued thousands of homeless and abandoned cats and dogs.
NY’s main shelter (the Center for Animal Care and Control) bears the unfortunate responsibility of having to “euthanize” more than 30,000 cats and dogs a year when adoptive homes cannot be found. Groups like New Yorkers for Companion Animals are the superheros as they go into the extreme conditions of NY’s main shelter, rescue animals on death row, place them in foster homes and get them adopted.
