PowerHouse to the people
More New York high rent suckery – powerHouse Books is being evicted from their space on Charlton St. They’ve started a cool blog to share the blow by blow news… “After more than two years in residence as the most innovative and lively photography gallery, event space, and bookstore in downtown Manhattan, we are being evicted from our lovingly-built home at 68 Charlton Street by catering/restaurant evildoers. From now until March 31, 2006 we will be keeping the public apprised of our progress with this blog.”
Sad news, but a small brightside for book lovers… they’re having a huge sale on their very cool selection of Limited Editions

Including the awesome – Autograf: New York City’s Graffiti Writers, Peter Sutherland’s chronicle of the people and places that populate New York’s famed graf scene.
