Our friends K & J just returned from a weekend (with these photos) and report that the place is hopping, the food is fantastic and the people couldn’t be more welcoming and wonderful!

And here’s a great event for dog lovers to support the city and it’s shelters!… The Krewe of Barkus Parade – Thousands of animals, mostly dogs, dressed in costumes reflecting an annual theme. (All proceeds from the event are donated to local humane societies and animal shelters.)
