NY produce is in peak season!
stands throughout NY state are filling up with delicious fresh produce this month. trailers stacked with corn, peaches and tomatoes are starting to line the roads. our favorite area for buying fresh off the farm is a strip of road right off the Taconic Pky in Columbia County. peaches are at their peak right now. and no offence to Georgia, there isn’t a more flavorful, juicy, bright tasting peach on the planet.

if you can’t make it upstate, there are tons of Farmers Market’s throughout the city (including the Union Square Greenmarket) that feature wonderful NY state produce.
