the dog shows are coming!
2 dog shows hit New York next week. on Monday and Tuesday the Westminster Kennel Club will represent at Madison Square Garden. in addition to the evening competions (that will be televised on USA network); admission allows you to enter the show at 8:30 a.m., watch the day long events and competitions, and wander the kennel areas.

this will be our first year attending. there’s that Best in Show obsession, but it’s the chance to see some real Corgi action that clinched the deal. (Buddy’s part Corgi and part Chihuahua, but it’s the Corgi in him that gives him that regal attitude.)

and Rachel pointed us to the Dog Show Party! – a very cool looking event that happens during the final night of Westminster with a live feed of the show, music, performances, a fashion show, contests and more fun stuff. they’ll be raising funds for a NY charity and it’s being held at Tonic in the LES – a dog show with local flavor y’all!
